Married 1983 to Ann Thomas ( Newspaper reporter, 1978-84; freelance journalist, 1991 onwards; marketing account manager, 1998-2002, 2003-2004; freelance marketing consultant and technical author, 2002-03, 2005 onwards. Co-editor (with Martin Tudor), Critical Wave: The European Science Fiction & Fantasy Review, 1987-96. Assistant editor, ReAct: The Newsletter of the National Association of Youth Theatres, 1991. Own publications include: Omega (for the British Amateur Press Association), Astron (initially co-edited with Chris Cutts), Sounding the Ritual Echo, Gaijin, Basilisk, Thunderbox (with Ann Green), Free Radical and No Exit (both for the Fantasy Amateur Press Association, of which I will become Vice-President in February 2006). Administrator, the British Amateur Press Association, 2002-05. Administrator, the Nova Awards, 2003 awards onwards (for the Birmingham Science Fiction Group).
